High Desert

Home - where the mountains meet the desert. This is a challenging place, and there's an almost rhythmic spell here that's dramatic and misunderstood. Whether you live here or just visiting, the Great Basin demands a different type of mindset. This place makes you work for its magic light. If  you're willing to slug it out on long dirt roads, or  bushwhack through an overgrown canyon hundreds of miles from any convenience - then by golly, you've earned your reward.

This is a tribute to one of the last wild  and  undiscovered  places in America ... and a place that I've been proud to call home for many years.  Welcome to the Great Basin.
